The vacuum pump ran of the ICE so it was replaced with an electric vacuum pump. This has an inline switch that detects the pressure change and closes the circuit when it needs the vacuum to turn on.
To replace the old gear stick controls, I’ve jigsawed out an area with MDF to mount the emergency off, inertia, and fwd/reverse switch.
This took about 8 hours to charge the 40 cells to 140volts.
I put some padding around the emergency off switch to help cover the live wires and fuse.
This took some time. Each battery cell needs to be connected the BMS so it can be monitored.
